TOMORROW Super go Carbon Neutral with Pathzero

Megan Styles

TOMORROW Super is creating a brighter future for generations to come, they have committed to offsetting 100% of their emissions since the company’s inception in 2017.

Founder and CEO, Wes Hall, wants TOMORROW to lead the way for all superannuation funds and wealth managers to make more conscious choices in their business.

“We want to create a better tomorrow for current and future generations both through their superannuation and caring for the planet.”

“We are committed to being an environmentally sustainable business and in addition, we are one of the first super funds to be carbon neutral and the only fund that has been carbon neutral since inception. We think it is important to take responsibility for the carbon emissions we produce as a business and be part of the carbon-neutral movement.”

TOMORROW partnered with Pathzero in May 2020, since then, they have used the carbon emissions calculator to measure their footprint and complete their carbon reporting.

TOMORROW’s Business Support Manager, Asini Jayasinghe said the emissions calculator is much simpler and intuitive than other alternatives. The monthly inventory reporting process takes less than five minutes to complete and your report is automatically updated.

"After looking at other alternatives for months, we found Pathzero’s process to be the most efficient and user-friendly. We used the self-serve feature and we were set up within minutes!"

TOMORROW have selected to offset their emissions through the Mount Sandy + Yingxin Glassworks Waste heat to Energy project and look forward to making changes within their business and the way they construct their clients’ investment portfolios to reduce their carbon footprint.

"We selected the Mount Sandy Conservation project as we think the project aligns well to the ethos to 'think global and act local' and we are pleased to be part of a conservation project in South Australia that brings together both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians."

Pathzero Co-Founder and CEO, Carl Prins, said: "Pathzero is pleased to be providing the technology for TOMORROW to go carbon neutral, we applaud their leadership and look forward to other funds following suit."

TOMORROW Super will be launching soon.
