At Pathzero we’re a team of ambitious professionals, committed to decarbonising the global economy.
We caught up with Account Manager Audrey Le Clech recently to learn about her work with Pathzero and climate journey.

Can you tell us about your role with Pathzero

As an Account Manager I look after our customers and support them in navigating this complex and ever-evolving decarbonisation journey.

I act as the point of contact with our teams of sustainability consultants, customer success and engineers. I also support the new business acquisition process to grow the Pathzero community.

Why do you work with Pathzero – what drives and inspires you?

I discovered Pathzero when it was less than a year old and was excited to have the opportunity to bring my experience to the organisation.

Climate change is definitely the most pressing issue of our time. I have 3 children and I'm concerned about the world they’ll live in as adults. Business and finance are an essential, strong lever to decarbonise the real economy – and Pathzero helps them to engage in that process.

Every day, I enjoy the thought that my work is part of an important plan to tackle our climate challenge. That’s a great motivator in the morning – better than coffee!

Looking back, what led you to this career?

I’ve always been conscious of the importance of nature and biodiversity but when I was a child, there was no concern around sustainability.

Throughout my career, I’ve encountered people who enlightened me on the importance of sustainable development. But the real epiphany happened with the birth of my children and my experience as an educator.

To reach the net zero emissions goal to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees by the end of the century, which is tomorrow, we must start now. So, I decided to join forces and use my skills to help this essential global project.

Is there anything else that you’d like to share?

Having worked for several years in education, I realised that children were really worried about the health of the Earth and interested in protecting the environment.

For years, as a sustainability coordinator in a school, I helped children to nurture that interest and develop their knowledge around how they could help as young citizens.

I’m very hopeful that the next generation is more aware of the urgency for a protected environment and global climate justice.
